  • Digital Dental Tech (CAD/CAM Trainee)
    Primary job duties:
    The primary job duty of the Digital Dental Technician is to perform digital scanning and design processing to aid in the manufacturing of restorative dental prosthetics.

    Work is performed in a production environment.

    No prior CAD/CAM or dental lab experience necessary - we will train.

    Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

    Success in this position requires a strong work ethic.
    The individual who has the ability to work independently and as part of a team, who can effectively manage their time and can meet productions deadlines will do well.
    A can-do, flexible outlook when meeting overtime and scheduling changes, with little or no notice, is valued.

    The ability to work well with co-workers of all levels, contributing to a cohesive and effective production team is key.




    Minimum position requirements:
    Must be 18 years of age or older. Basic computer and keyboarding skills are required. Must be self motivated and have ability to maintain workflow, follow production protocol and meet quality standards.

    Exposure to zirconia dust, milling machine & vacuum noise are part of the work space. The majority of the work is performed from at standing position at a work station. Occasional lifting/carrying items weighing 10 lbs. or less.

    Computer, digital scanner, processing equipment


    Employment details:
    Shift: Full-Time / M-F / Shift starts at 9:00am
    Starting Wage: $13.00/hr - introductory/training wage (negotiable with previous CAD/CAM experience)

  • Customer Service Route Representative
    Primary job duties:
    The primary function of the Customer Service Route Representative is the pick-up and delivery of dental restorations to dental offices on an assigned route. The Route Rep must be singularly focused on delivering an exceptional customer service experience, to every customer, every time.

    The route assignment for this opening is in the Eugene area.

    Additional tasks as may be occasionally assigned.

    Minimum position requirements:
    Must have current valid driver license (CDL not required). Must pass DMV background check to verify insurability. (No moving violations within the last three years)
    Must be able to operate company vehicle in all road, weather and traffic conditions.

    Must be able to meet physical demands of this fast paced job with or without reasonable accommodation: The Customer Route Representative operates a compact passenger vehicle, will sit in the vehicle for extended periods of time and repeatedly enter & exit the vehicle throughout the workday. Required to walk short distances, occasionally climb stairs and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.

    The Route Rep is required to wear a company uniform. Must always present a neat, clean, and professional appearance. Visible tattoos or facial piercings are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited while in uniform or within the company vehicle.

    Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
    Previous delivery experience is not required.
    Preference will be given to applicants with a strong customer service background.

    The successful applicant is hired through a local staffing agency for a 4-6 week introductory period. Applicant must pass staffing agency hiring process. Applicant will transition to an O'Brien employee after successful completion the introductory period.

    Company provided compact passenger vehicle and cellphone.
    Computer & general office equipment.

    Employment details:
    Shift: 35+ hours per week / Mon-Fri / Shift starts at 7:30 am and ends when the days work is completed
    Starting Wage: $13.00/hr. - Introductory Wage

  • Dental Technician - Trainee
    Primary job duties:
    The primary job duty of the Dental Technician is to complete assigned processing steps in the manufacture of dental prosthetics. This position is responsible for polishing the final product in preparation for glaze. No prior experience is necessary - we will train.




    Key components to success in this position:
    Higher than average manual dexterity, fine motor skills and hand eye coordination.
    Able to prioritize work and meet production deadlines.
    Willingness to follow precise instructions without variation.
    Consideration will be given to applicants who value teamwork and personal accountability, and who desire to be a positive, productive, reliable member of the production team.




    Minimum position requirements:
    Work is performed in a production lab environment, from a sitting or standing position, repetitive hand/wrist motion, some walking.
    Must have willingness and flexibility to meet scheduling/work demands, including occasional overtime with little or no notice.
    Must be able to work well with a variety of personalities, communicate effectively, and contribute to team success.
    Must be able to read, write, speak & understand English.


    Equipment used to complete job tasks:
    Hand piece, polishing lathe, microscope, dental tools
