Manufactured with TRUfit® Technology
IPS e.max Press lithium disilicate restorations are manufactured by the lost wax method. We developed a manufacturing system for making lithium disilicate restorations, and hold three patents on this innovative precision manufacturing system we call TRUfit.
We use our patented TRUfit system to fabricate our lithium disilicate restorations using IPS e.max Press and we call the resulting restorations Enamelux® lithium disilicate restorations.
Our process utilizes industrial-grade milling equipment and tooling to produce our wax patterns. This system yields a restoration with superior fit, precise margins, and natural-looking anatomical contours. When it comes to lithium disilicate restorations, utilizing TRUfit technology yields quality and consistency unachievable via hand-wax or milled methods of manufacturing, resulting in few chairside adjustments.
Indications & Recommendations
Enamelux restorations are recommended for inlays, onlays, veneers (to .4mm thin), crowns, and three unit bridges to 2nd bicuspid. Maximum pontic span of 9mm in posterior and 11mm in the anterior, and interproximal connector size of 16 square mm, is recommended.
Given the varied indications and translucency of the material, a preparation or dentin shade must be provided for optimal esthetic results. This is best communicated utilizing the IPS Natural Die Material shade guide by Ivoclar.
